PRIORITY TRANSPORTATION
Where The Upper Management Even “Pitches In” And Drives
Do you, as a truck driver, sometimes think to yourself, “The guys in upper management at our trucking company have no idea what us truckers go through? There is no way they can relate to what we do for a living.”
I thought so. Well, let me tell you about Priority Transportation, a company where everyone on staff is encouraged to have and maintain a Class A (CDL). And, it’s a company which in crunch time, will call on any qualified driver on the staff, to haul a load some where.
Well, on Thursday July 1st, that was just the case. Priority Transportation needed drivers. And they needed them immediately. And, without time to bring in new hires and get them trained, upper management office staffers stepped in….to help save the day.
On that particular day, the Vice President of Operations, Kevin Johnson got behind the wheel, as did two Road Breakdown office staffers (Terry Lush and Marty Robbins). And, the Planner for the Reefer Division, Jeff Aldridge was there at 3 a.m. to start driving. All four drove on that day, because their company and their company’s customers needed them to.
Does this sound like the kind of company that you would like to be a part of? One where everyone in management can relate to what the truckers go through, because they occasionally go through it themselves?
If you apply with Priority Transportation and get hired by them…. know this: On any given day, one of the head honchos might just be out on the road, too. Because, at Priority Transportation…………everybody pitches in.
